Description: 
Blue Lined Emperor are another member of the Emperor family, commonly caught when reef fishing in southern Queensland and Northern New South Wales
How To Identify: 
Blue Lined Emperor are similar in shape to the other Emperors however they have a dip near the eye instead of a straight line. It is usually light brown to olive tinges and is cream on the belly. They grow to about 5 kgs.
How To Catch: 
Blue Lined Emperor are generally caught when fishing for other reef species and will take most baits such as squid and fish flesh baits.
Where Found: 
Blue Lined Emperor are found along the Queensland Coast, Northern Territory and northern Western Australia however are most common around the reef systems of central and southern Queensland
