A long bright silvery fish with a huge, forked tail. Usually greenish blue on the top of the body. It has a single dorsal fin about half way from its head and tail. Its fins are a dusky yellow with tinges of black. It can grow to almost 1.5 meters and weight almost 12 kgs.How To Catch:
Giant Herring mostly feed on small prawns, crabs and other crusteans. So small prawns, crabs, or fish baits work well. However it is a great ultra light tackle sportfish on flies or small lures. Small poppers are a great when they are feeding on the surface. small white bucktail feather figs also work very well.Where Found:
